Mount Kalaga is a national park in the north of the state: hills, forest, a lake. The name is official, from Rockstar. Expect viewpoints and items you have to walk to.

checkable facts forecast, not fact

There is no item list on this page yet, and that is deliberate. Nobody has exact coordinates before 19 November: there is no PC version at launch, so nobody is unpacking the game files. Everything below about GTA 5 and RDR 2 is checkable fact. Everything about GTA 6 is inference about how it will be built, not about what will actually be there. The map fills up from day one, every marker with a link to its source.

What is known

Rockstar pitches the park as a place for hunting, fishing and off-road trails, with recluses and conspiracy types living deep in the woods. The trailers show wooded slopes, a lake, dirt roads and ranger structures.

Rockstar's forest zones always work against vehicles. In RDR 2 half the dreamcatchers hung where a horse cannot go, and in GTA 5 Mount Chiliad gathered more finds around it than any city district of the same size. Expect the same: a lot of walking, few approaches.

Which makes routing matter more here than in a city. Driving out for one marker is a waste; for ten it is not, and the order is worth planning in advance.

What does not open straight away

What may keep part of the park closed:

EquipmentA helicopter for summits, scuba for the lake. Much of it walks, but not all.

Time of daySecrets are nearly always nocturnal, and a forest at night shows nothing without a light.

Story progressParts of the map opened up with the story in earlier games.

WeatherFog and rain change visibility in hills far more than in a city.

Orange depends on how far you have played. Blue depends on what you brought with you.

Using the map

The map can show Mount Kalaga alone — the other six regions drop away and progress is counted for the park on its own.

Both filters work inside that view. For a park the gear one earns its keep: it separates what you can walk to from what needs a second trip with a helicopter.

What appears after launch

From 19 November this page will carry the Mount Kalaga item list with a counter, hints and a source link on every marker.

A note on the name: if the region turns out to be called something else in the game, the heading of this page changes and the address stays. Links you have shared will not break.
