Grassrivers is the Everglades analogue: channels, hummocks, airboats, cypress. This is where Rockstar almost always hides whatever is hardest to reach.

checkable facts forecast, not fact

There is no item list on this page yet, and that is deliberate. Nobody has exact coordinates before 19 November: there is no PC version at launch, so nobody is unpacking the game files. Everything below about GTA 5 and RDR 2 is checkable fact. Everything about GTA 6 is inference about how it will be built, not about what will actually be there. The map fills up from day one, every marker with a link to its source.

What is known

The trailers show overgrown channels, timber shacks on stilts, an airboat. West and south of the state's rural middle.

Wetlands are built so that ordinary vehicles are useless. Few roads, shallow water, unreliable ground. The Lemoyne swamps in RDR 2 worked the same way: half the finds needed a boat and the other half needed knowing where the solid ground was.

The practical point: you come to the wetlands prepared and for a while. The gap between a map showing every marker and a map showing the ones you can reach is wider here than anywhere else.

What does not open straight away

What will keep part of the wetlands closed:

EquipmentA boat is close to mandatory, scuba for the channels. Only a small part walks.

Time of daySwamp secrets in earlier games were nocturnal almost without exception.

Orange depends on how far you have played. Blue depends on what you brought with you.

Using the map

The map can show Grassrivers alone — the other six regions drop away and progress is counted for this ground on its own.

Switch a boat on in the gear filter inside that view. The difference between every wetland marker and the ones you can actually reach is larger here than in any other region.

What appears after launch

From 19 November this page will carry the Grassrivers item list with a counter, hints and a source link on every marker.

Until an item has been found and backed by a link, it is not on the map. The wetlands will attract the most rumours after launch: this is where secrets and cryptids traditionally go.
